„Common ground“ and „12+12“

27.03.2017 - Lectures

What does "common ground" mean for the work of architects – and for the work of schneider+schumacher? How does the architecture of sacred buildings, which were built after 2000, look like? The first question, which also deals with the importance for society and politics, will be answered by Joachim Wendt at the Faculty of Architecture at the Hochschule Coburg at 7 pm.

The German Society for Christian Art (Deutsche Gesellschaft für christliche Kunst e.V), in cooperation with BDA Bayern and the Chair for Spatial Design and Light Design at the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University of Munich, invited schneider+schumacher to the lecture series "12+12 – Zeitgenössische sakrale Architektur in Deutschland nach 2000". At 7 pm, Till Schneider will report on the Autobahn Church Siegerland, as well as on a pioneering building from the antiquity to the present.
